Marius had returned to Sang et Château D'or after a quick flight from the NightWolf Tavern. Light feet embraced by slick black shoes had landed before the great double doors of his castle - finding them opening quickly. Though not by his Dark Gifts, but by a curly haired boy about 15 years of age. The Ancient Vampire swept past him in a blur as he spoke firmly, cobalt eyes darting about the hall before landing on the boy. "Apportez une bouteille de Bloodwyne à mon étude immédiatement et cherchez Louis!" The boy's green eyes widen at the haste of his Master's words and immediately turned on a heel to do as ordered - looking for Louis first. Another boy with short blonde hair and an angel's face had already removed his Master's armani suit jacket, along with the torn cloak - which will have to be mended. The cloth almost seemed to writhe.

Marius didn't hesitate on opening the door to his great study, seeing the blazing fire in the hearth, his lips straight lined as he wisked himself to his desk. He sat down and sighed like a human, turning his marble white features toward the window near him; looking at the dark clad ocean. Link was dead - finally, he thought... but he didn't like the effects it had on Donovan. The elf wasn't that old, by any standards - vampiric or elven - and yet his hair is now silver. He frowned and absently touched one of his white blonde locks. And this Vincente boy, he certainly took after Link and not Arik - the boy was far more chaotic than Link had been, and more dangerous. He glanced away from the window and glanced down at a few books mislayed on his desk, various papers, feathered pens and a journal. Most all Vampires carry them - they live too long to remember everything. These objects seemed so mundane now, so pathetic, and it seemed he was already plotting some things in his dark mind.... ideas forming.

He was in Marius' study, relaxing in a chair and reading quietly to himself. He sensed the ancient vampire long before he entered the study, driven with some sort of purpose. Louis places the thick leather bound book onto a side table, sweeping a gloved hand through his hair, pulling the brown strands out of his face. "What's happened friend?" He said then, his emerald green pools questioning. He could not bring himself to read Marius' mind, he felt it too perverse in invading the ancient's mind. He saw him then gathering supplies and he stood up then from his comfortable seat and walked behind Marius, peering down the side of his shoulder, seeing what he was doing. He whispers quietly again. "Something has caught your attention, something I do not know about." He reached out with a hand and places it on the ancient's shoulder, giving him what comfort he could.

How he didn’t notice Louis sitting in the study before he came striding in... is beyond him. Was he that caught up in thought? Certainly. He kept his frown as he heard Louis’ voice, shaking his head a little as he spoke in his heavy accent, his voice soft and thoughtful. “Something I’ve been anticipating for a long time...” He picked up the journal and opened a drawer at his great desk; dropping it inside. “...and something that is bothering me greatly.” If Louis could ever successfully read the Ancient’s mine - something that’s extremely difficult to do - it’s because of the blood he allowed him to drink. To make his powers like his. “There has been a feud for a long time between myself and...” He turned his features to the hand on his shoulder, kissed it, then stood up to glance into the hearth. “...And a certain half breed creature... part Hyrulian, like an elf... and part Lycan. He became a pain in my side for many years, but mostly because he kept being so cruel to Arik... my ex husband, who is now dead... who was also Link’s husband... Link had him killed in cold blood. We had already been great enemies prior, but that deepened the hate I had for the dark, twisted creature...” He silently sneers, though it was brief, and he glances to Louis, feeling the warmth from the blazing fire.

“I had a short lived fling with Link’s twin brother Donovan... he was the sweetest, cutest blonde... Hyrulian also, of course. I was really falling for him in that short span of time. Then, before I knew it, I had never seen the boy again. He looked so young...” He shakes his head slowly and runs a hand through his white blonde locks. “I seen him tonight because I went to Link’s tavern, I had gathered information the dark Hyrulian had died. I wanted this confirmed, and I found it’s true. Though Donovan looks nothing like he did. I barely recognized him! His hair had grown immensely long, very silver, like an old man with a beautiful face. I know it’s premature silver hair, and I know it’s from all the stress from Link’s selfish acts. I also met Link and Arik’s son... he’s worse than Link ever was, I felt such chaos, such blackness... It was very disturbing to feel that from such a young creature. I ended up in a fight with him, Vincente got mad with me at hearing some truths, and went Lycan.... but I’ve dealt with such before.. Donovan ended up interjecting and I left... after giving him the pendant from around my neck.”

He grew silent for the moment and walked up to Louis, cupping his face with both hands, viewing with cobalt blue eyes with strong intensity. “We’re getting Donovan out of there." That was plan one of several, but before revealing anything else, he had to get Donovan out of that place. It was no good for him.

Louis remained deathly quiet and still as Marius spoke, he gently stuck the hand that had been kissed into a pocket, striding over toward a window. He looked out beyond the horizon, not seeing anything as he gazed. He had no idea about any half breed he was being told about, but knew Marius' involvements were troubling him greatly. After the ancient had finished his explanation, Louis turned directly to stare at him. "That will cause many problems..won't it? This lycan breed you speak of...Vincente...if he's anything as I picture, he won't let his uncle go easily. His pride alone will destroy him. I would prefer a more stealthy approach. Perhaps lure Donovan away, enough to tell him that his nephew is out of control and it is a futile purpose to protect him." Louis smiled, already getting an idea of these creatures. Donovan sounded interesting, he wouldn't mind talking to him. "Give him a purpose." He strode back over to that chair he had previously occupied, sitting and reaching for the book. "Do you need my help?" He grinned, "I wouldn't mind observing these creatures." He rested a gloved thumb on his forehead, peering down upon the printed letters. He wasn't in the mood to read, but he habitually appeared as if he was.

He took his words in carefully as cobalt blue eyes gaze into the hearth; watching the flickering flames, before turning away to speak. “You’re right, Louis, it must be done in stealth. After all, I don’t want Donovan to hate me, or think of me ill because I believe he is in a terrible situation.” He knitted his brows in thought, striding over toward a large world globe; spinning it absently. “The world must be rid of creatures such as these particular Lycans.” He mutter softly, shaking his head as if in sorrow, eyes flicking toward Louis, saying nothing more on it.

“Give him a purpose? Hmm.. Yes, but what sort of purpose? It’s not like we’re a Clan, Louis, God forbid.” He smirked out a soft laugh, grinned, and stopped spinning the globe. “I want to spoil him rotten, truth be told...” His words trailed off and he walked away from the globe and stopped near Louis, looking at what he pretended to read.

“I am indeed inquiring you for help, my dear friend.” He sighed like a human and placed his hands on Louis’ shoulders, bending his head to view the top of his hair.

Marius' words flowed through his senses, somehow chilling his already cold frame. When he felt hands on his shoulders, he let out a long sigh. "I whole heartedly agree with you friend. I will help you in any way I am able...but first...I would like to observe this clan from afar. I'll know evil when I see it." He placed the book back onto the side table, slowly rising, his arms going around Marius' waist. He smiles as he slides his hands up the ancient's sides before resting them on his shoulders. "As for a purpose....offer him a place here. You want that I know. If you know what you want...take it." He grins then almost devilishly. He found the vampire to be intoxicating, he wanted to taste him, wondered if it would be allowed. It has been a long time since Louis has taken blood and he found his emerald pools gazing toward the arc of his neck, bravely sweeping back his lustrous hair. His fangs unsheathed, he runs his tongue over them briefly. He then moved one hand toward Marius' lower back, pressing him against him and holding firmly. He bent his head and pressed his cold lips onto the side of the ancient's neck, kissing softly. "I'll do anything you ask of me," With that said, he sinks his fangs into the marble like flesh, closing his eyes tight.

“Of course you may observe these creatures. After all, you need to know what we will be dealing with. I’m not one to believe all of one race, or breed, are evil or good - just like Vampires are not black and white. However, this particular Clan is highly dangerous.”

He felt hands scan his sides as he looked toward Louis; knowing his frame is rigid by thousands of years being Undead. He wraps an arm about his waist in turn, tilting his head. "Louis, that taking what you want can be dangerous if it isn’t approached correctly. Ah, but you know that.” He grinned, teeth glittering white, matching the tone of his flesh.

He catches the devilish grin, knows what Louis wants, it might as well be written all over his face: Blood. His blood. He watched green orbs pass to his neck, and he tilted it in welcome as his hair was swept back - eyes going half mast to the kiss on his neck. “That’s good to know.” He replied to the last of Louis’ words, closing his eyes as he felt fangs protrude his marble-like flesh - the pain like pleasure blossomed in his mind’s eye like an opening red rose, feeling the Ancient blood being taken. Louis was always welcome to take his blood when he needed it, knowing the self conscious vampire wasn’t keen on feeding on mortals very often to his knowledge. If he had breath, it would have paused, and both of his arms now rest around his waist. When Louis was done taking what he wanted, he gently pushes him back and opened his eyes - grinning smoothly, his face similiar to a mask: no lines ever showed with each expression given. He kept his hands on the vampire’s waist, however, as he spoke. “Thank you, my dearest friend.”

He was surprised when Marius did not push him back, he wasn't the most confident of vampires. He curls his hand deeper into the small of his back as he drank the fiery blood of the ancient. He felt it soar through his veins, he swooned against Marius, drinking for a few seconds. He released him then and stumbled a couple steps back, breathing deeply. The effects of the blood were the same as when he first drank from him. He shook his head a couple times, closing his emerald pools. "My god....it did not kill me," He smiled then, his alabaster skin glowing with a soft hue, fresh blood pumping through his veins. He regained his composure and swept a gloved hand through his hair. "I feel so alive, such excitement in my body I haven't felt in years!" He walked to Marius and took hold of his hands, swaying him in a light dance. "Such excitement!" He twirled the ancient once more before releasing his hand, breathing deeply and grinning. "Perhaps, while my curiosity is peaked, I will observe the creatures now," He walked to the window then, looking out over the horizon as he often does, seeing without seeing.

Once he felt the hot, ancient blood begin it’s draining, and felt him back away; he watched Louis carefully - even laughing when he said it didn’t kill him. He saw the flush of pale cheeks, the indication of fresh blood flowing through him. He grinned widely, fangs glittering. “Of course it didn’t kill you, Louis, you’ve drank from me before.” He felt his hands taken, watching him get all jittery... how long has it been since he drank blood in general? He felt himself whirled, laughing softly, wondering if Louis lost his mind a bit. But knew he didn’t, of course, he was glad to see him in a grand mood.

“Ah, yes. I’d say you should cease the moment indeed, and spy on the Clan.” He clicks his tongue, knowing Donovan is in the Mystic Tavern upset - the pendant he gave him was able to let him know a number of things. “I’ve got to leave for awhile anyway, Louis. Be careful.” Without another word, he threw on his armani jacket and whirled out of the room, leaving the castle. He wasn’t just wanting to make sure Donovan was alright, but he had the oddest feeling from the other Donovan was speaking with - the essence was almost too clear. However, he will merely observe and will not make his presence known unless he has to. Plus, this might just give him the chance he needs to get Donovan away from NightWolf.

After Marius left, Louis quickly fled the castle himself. He was headed for the NightWolf Tavern, knowing where it was without ever going there himself. The blood he received from his beloved ancient friend allowed him to know the things he dared not use telepathy with. He wondered then, just what he would see.
